"LONE RANGER AND TONTO"
by
"Frank T. Rolapp"

I remember when I was just a lad
Sitting in front of the television screen
I saw a pair of heroes come riding into view
The kind like I had never before seen!

The Lone Ranger and Tonto were a pair of heroes

Who fought for justice and truth
They fought to protect the helpless and weak
They were the heroes of my youth!

They taught a moral in every show

I listened to each word they said
Alas, my heroes now are gone
Because they now are dead!

But their lessons are still alive

Their words will never fade away
They taught me well, I know they did
Because of the man I am today!

Now their spirits ride in the clouds

toward another frontier
If you listen close, you'll hear the sound of hoofbeats
Their memory still is here!

Because what they represented was so right

Their legend will never die
And so in a final tribute I say,
ADOIS, KEMOSABE....GOODBYE!

This is one 45 year old fan who will never forget these two men.

God Bless Their Memory!
