Camp Ord 1930s

Camp Ord was just beginning to advance out of it's infancy. Growth was still in the planning stage. It began with the clearing of the excess brushes that dominated the landscape. Then the road construction began. This would make it easier to move about the camp's grounds.

At the beginning, the constuction of cutting the roads through the brush was uneventful. But as the construction expanded to the rolling hills. Earth movers were brought in to move the small hills out of the way.
