Fans

Uncle Clayton with his Favorite Fans.
I'm not so sure as to why Uncle Clayton was sporting a mustache.
No doubt for a character he was playing at the time.
Mom seems to think it was for,
'Kansas Pacific.'
This was taken in Pacomia,Calif at my parents house.
During one of the numerous barbecue parties
they held way back then. Circa 1953, I think.
I'm the one sitting in the chair.
My sister, Sandra, is on Uncle Clayton's right.
The others are my brothers, and cousins.
My Dad made this photo into a postcard for the holidays
that year for family and friends.
If anyone of you fans have one of these cards.
Please email me.
I would really enjoy hearing about it.

Pool

Everybody in the Pool!
This time we're at Uncle Clayton's house in Tarzana,Calif.
There were many wonderful weekends like this one.
I believe this was 1957.
Just after Uncle Clayton finished shooting
'The Lone Ranger' series.
Sandra is on the left and that's me on the right.
It was at Uncle Clayton's house that I learned how to swim.
He took the time to actually give me lessons.
A very special memory for me.
The lifesavers on the cabana wall say,
'SS LONE RANGER.'

Lazy Trails
I apologize for the lack of quality in this photo.
I'm trying to locate the negative to produce a better print.
It's a shot of Uncle Clayton and Aunt Sally
in front of their home in Tarzana, Calif.
As You can see, they called it the
'Lazy Trails.'
